We are led by key UK manufacturing employers across the sectors including Nissan, Toyota, Corus, Rolls-Royce plc, Caterpillar, Ford, GKN, Airbus UK, BAE Systems, and VT Group, who reflect their skill's needs in each of the nine regions across sectors through Regional Advisory Groups (RAGs) who play an integral part on influencing and setting national standards.

Regional Advisory Groups (RAGs)

The roles and responsibilities of RAGs include providing employer leadership, identifying employer's skills needs, engaging regional manufacturing employers across sectors and ensuring SME involvement.  RAGs also monitor provisions inline with regional priorities in compliance to The Skills Academy standard.

The National Skills Academy for Manufacturing employers across various manufacturing sectors including: Aerospace, Automotive, Marine, Electrical, Electronics, Metals, Engineered Metals and Bioscience.
