Chris Meadows

Chris Meadows has over 25 years experience within the semiconductor industry and graduated whilst working at the British Telecommunications (BT) Research & Development facility in the UK. He went on to assist with the technology transfer of advanced semiconductor material processes from BT to a joint venture with DuPont before joining the founding team of EPI (which later became IQE plc) in 1988. He has held a number of senior management positions within the group including responsibilities for HR, Training & Development and QA and is currently Head of Corporate Systems based at the Group’s International Headquarters in Cardiff.

Chris has been involved with the Welsh Electronics Forum since 1995, chairing both the Skills and more recently the Marketing Group. He also represents the semiconductor sector on the skills group of the Welsh Manufacturing Forum and has been actively involved in a number of Semta related projects including The High Value Added "STEM" programme in Wales.
